The second International Sales Meeting of the Ricmar Group Business Enterprises and Partners took place on 13th and 14th of July in San Francisco.

For the first time the Ricmar Group in co-operation with Häcker Automation was represented at SMT Nuremberg.

We see a continues increase in the activities around our vacuum coating systems. To be able to meet the requirements of our vacuum technology customers more efficiently PROVAC AG established a new product management in December 2007.

Mr. Marcel Kessler is now responsible for the Product Management and the Sales Support for all PROVAC products. Working in close relationship with the customers and via the Ricmar Sales & Service organization and their representatives he is responsible for all technical and adminsitrative issues which also includes quotations and price negotiations.

Ground-breaking ceremony for the new RICMAR building in Kramsach, Austria

Kramsach, 17th March 2008. – Since the foundation of Ricmar Beteiligungs GmbH in 2005 the enterprise succeeded in business and today the ground-breaking ceremony for the new RICMAR building took place.
Hannes Bodner, member of provincial government, Manfred Stöger, mayor of Kramsach and Gerhard Zeindl, President Ricmar Group were present. The total cost for the project will be about 4 Mio Euro.

The participation of RICMAR, represented by Gerhard Zeindl, president of the Ricmar Group and Markus Thamm, President of Ricmar Sales & Service GmbH, at the GSF Global Semiconductor Forum 2008 in Osaka from 27th February to 1st March 2008 was very successful.

Ricmar has successfully integrated the IDE product group of wafer packer and wafer sorter into its product portfolio and is proud to annouce that from now on the product line of the automatic wafer packer consists of the modified AWP200 and AWP300. Therefore the new AWP300 combines the former bridgetool AWP2300 and the original AWP300. The AWP200 wafer is designed to pack, unpack and sort 150/200mm wafer using two robots, easily adaptable to your requirements.

As of October 2007 Häcker Automation has made Ricmar Sales & Service responsible for their worldwide sales, service and support. For the customers this means extensive technical support and 24-hour spare-part service for the Häcker product portfolio.

Starting December 2007 Sungji Trading Co.Ltd, Seoul is new representative for Ricmar in Korea. The agreement was signed by Joseph H. Pi, President Sungji Trading and Markus Thamm, CEO Ricmar Sales & Service on 5th December 2007.
Sungji Trading with its headquarters in Seoul will provide extensive service and support for our customers in Korea.

The first systems of the new RSL 5000 Ricmar Sublimation Laser System have been shipped. The high precision, damage free Laser Stripping of polyamid like foils from ceramic substrates is realized by a processing speed of up to 1000mm/s and accuracy better 10µm. June 04th, 2007 – Kramsach, AUSTRIA - Randolph, Ma/USA  --- Ricmar Technology GmbH, part of the Ricmar Group of Kramsach, Austria has purchased the well-established end user line of wafer packers and wafer sorters from Integrated Dynamics Engineering (IDE), Inc..

IDE has its headquarters in Randolph, Massachusetts, and Raunheim, Germany. The agreement was announced jointly by Gerhard Zeindl, CEO of Ricmar Technology GmbH, and Peter Heiland, President of IDE. Both Ricmar and IDE are privately held. Financial details of the transaction, which became final on May 21, 2007, have not been disclosed.

As of March 2006 Ricmar Beteiligungs GmbH Austria, with Ing. Gerhard Zeindl as its managing director, is the new owner of PROVAC AG involved in vacuum technology in Balzers, Liechtenstein.  The current management Ing. Walter Schwärzler and Mr. Urs Frick as well as the existing staff will remain with the company.  They plan a more intensive market presence from the company’s location in Balzers.
