Automatic Optical Inspection (AOI) and Handling successfully combined for MEMS Production Equipment
Date: 12 Jun 2009Ricmar as a specialist for automation and manufacturer of semiconductor production machines has successfully implemented specific automation and integration projects in close relationships with some leading semiconductor customers in Europe.
Thus Ricmar recently delivered the MPS 1000 Micro Part Sorting Machine for MEMS production to a main customer in Austria. Within a developing time of only 3 months and testing phase of 1 month the MPS 1000 runs fully automatic in production environment. Handling and sorting of small and sensitive parts is one of Ricmar’s core competencies.
In combination with our own automatic optical inspection system (AOI) to control the part geometry based on quality criterions and special I/O magazine handler the machine exactly meets the customer’s requirements in accuracy and throughput.
