Productline AWP – Automatic Wafer Packer
Date: 21 Jan 2008Ricmar has successfully integrated the IDE product group of wafer packer and wafer sorter into its product portfolio and is proud to annouce that from now on the product line of the automatic wafer packer consists of the modified AWP200 and AWP300. Therefore the new AWP300 combines the former bridgetool AWP2300 and the original AWP300. The AWP200 wafer is designed to pack, unpack and sort 150/200mm wafer using two robots, easily adaptable to your requirements.
The new AWP300 is freely configurable and can either be used as 300mm tool or as bridgetool for 200/300mm wafer. The standard machine configuration incorporates two roboters, substrate buffer station and pre-aligner as well as up to six BOLTS compatible I/O stations.
Additionally the AWP300 provides for the first time a green-light inspection as an option as well as automatic wafer recognition, for the definition of the active wafer surface. The standard design of the machine incorporates the new revised and improved waferpackloader as well as revised and structured software features including an easy operator guidance.
Production, testing and initiation of the product line started running in Kramsach, Austria successfully and the first machine of AWP300 will be shipped at the end of January 2008.
