Date: 7 Oct 2010Ricmar successfully installed its new Micro Part sorting System the MPS 1100 at its Austrian customer site who is a main supplier of autofocus assemblies used in mobile telephones.
The challenge in this custom sorting system was the ability at high speeds to handle and sort multi-layer piezoelectric ceramic components, sizes down to 4.5 x 0.8 x 0.7 mm, and incorporating automated optical inspection of the micro part geometry, based on the customers specific quality requirements.
